Substrata offers high quality borosilicate coverslips coated with gold. All coatings are deposited under vacuum using electron beam evaporation. Applications include nanotechnology, biotechnology and AFM applications.

 

We use a thin chromium adhesion layer (2-7 nm) between the glass and gold coating. This adhesion layer is optional and can also be replaced with titanium upon request.  All coverslips are shipped in a X0 Gel-Pak box.

High quality substrates coated with 500 Å (50 nm) of gold. All coatings include a 50 Å chromium adhesion layer between the substrate surface and the gold coating. All gold substrates are autoclavable.
