Substrata offers high quality borosilicate coverslips coated with gold
All coatings are deposited under high vacuum using electron beam evaporation. Applications include nanotechnology, biotechnology and AFM applications.
We use a thin chromium adhesion layer (2-7 nm) between the glass and gold coating. This adhesion layer is optional and can also be replaced with titanium upon request. All coverslips are packaged in a X0 Gel-Pak box within a cleanroom environment.
Custom sizes and materials can also be fabricated to meet your needs.
