We deposit high-purity gold onto Schott BOROFLOAT® 33 (NEXTERION® Glass B) substrates, chosen for their exceptional chemical stability, thermal durability, and an ultra-low surface roughness of (< 1 nm RMS).

Superior Adhesion & Purity: Substrates are pre-cleaned and coated via electron beam (EB) evaporation in a dedicated high-vacuum system. A thin chromium interlayer is utilized to ensure maximum gold-to-glass bonding. Other interlayer materials are available upon request.

Precision Thickness Options: While our standard gold thickness is 50 nm, we also provide specialized coatings at 10 nm, 100 nm, and 500 nm to meet your specific experimental needs. Custom thicknesses are available upon request.

Durable & Sterilizable: Our gold-coated slides are fully autoclavable, making them ideal for sensitive biological applications and repeated use.

High quality substrates coated with pure gold (99.999 %). All coatings include a 20-75 Å chromium adhesion layer between the substrate surface and the gold coating. Titanium (Ti) can also be used as an adhesion layer upon request.
All gold substrates are autoclavable.
